Being a Futebol dá força coach
As a certified coach, we will provide you with individual support based on your needs, in order for you to be able to apply the knowledge and tools from our leadership training in practice as a football coach for girls 8-16 years old and empower girls through football. It doesn't matter if you are already a football coach and have been for a long time, or if you're completely new to coaching and need help starting up your first team; we tailor the support to your specific situation and context.
A coach and mentor for girls
Create a safe space, a supportive peer group and a positive learning environment in your team, where you develop girls' self-esteem and self-leadership, and facilitate conversations around topics that are important to girls and their development, especially girls' physical and mental health,
and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
A change leader in your community
Create trustful relationships in your local community, leading behaviour change and raising awareness around the positive health and social outcomes of girls' being children, playing football and staying in school.
A support to fellow coaches
Share experiences and best practices, ask for help and
help others. We run local networks for you to engage with other coaches in your area with whom you can collaborate, exchange ideas and come up with solutions to problems that might arise in your community. At the same time, we run national and global networks for you to get inspiration, support and a wider network of coaches that can help you develop as a coach.
